Tomislav arrived on the 2th August to spend 1 month in Dublin to get to know the Irish language scene especially in terms of writing and music. As he was staying in St. Patrick's Lodge on the grounds of St. Patrick's Cathedral in the city centre, we undertook a walking tour of the centre. (We are happy to collaborate with Dublin City Council Arts Office http://www.dublincityartsoffice.ie/).
On our way, we called into the National Library holdings which constitute the most comprehensive collection of Irish documentary material in the world and offer an invaluable representation of Ireland’s history and heritage.
Off we went to Foras na Gaeilge offices on Merrion Square, where we meet with some of the staff and Breandán Mac Craith showed Tomilslav Ais, the main Book Distribution for Irish language books in the country.
Tomislav, having found his bearings, set off the get involved in his own personal writing and exploration of Irish language writers and artists.
